More Efficient and Reliable IPM Motor

We're excited about the upgraded Talaria-built IPM (Interior Permanent Magnet) motor—featuring the same internals as the Sting R. With larger magnets, improved efficiency, and better heat dissipation, it’s far more reliable than the stock Sting or Sur-Ron motors. Common failure points like loose magnets and hall sensors are eliminated thanks to a built-in magnetic encoder. It supports higher RPMs, handles more power with upgraded controllers, and delivers a stronger, more efficient power curve.

X3 PRO COMPARED TO THE STING R

Built with the same DNA as the MX4 Sting R, the X3 Pro offers a lighter, more compact form at a lower price. The same:

  • 40ah built in battery compared to Sting R 45ah quick swappable battery

  • RFID start instead of key start
  • X3 Pro = 31.5 inch seat height MX4 = 33.5 inch
  • X3 Pro has complex headlight with switch, Sting R only has basic led light in front
